Actually, I am supposed to post this prior to my last entry. Oh wells…

But yeah, i secretly got myself a LED ring light over the weekend. It has been something that I have been eyeing on since i started out shooting flowers and good ol mother nature.

Got this item from a fellow Clubsnapper Castwind, who happens to be run a business selling local-made flash to the european market. The brand is called Brilliant and naturally sells at a significantly cheaper price than most competitors you can think of. According to Castwind (Lucas), his company does not do any business in Singapore as his main business is in Europe.

Lately however, he has decided to open up his warehouse once a month and allow fellow singaporeans grab of some really value-for-money local made flash as well as imported items like the LED ring light.

Castwind was generous enough to give out some freebies too. I got a cleaning kit, on-camera flash diffuser, ring attachment for digicams (for stable video recording) and a digicam neckstrap. Cheap stuff, but it shows his sincerity.

What i really like is that the purchase comes with 4 filter size adaptor rings to attach the ring light to the lens. Those 4 filter sizes will fit most macro lens in the market. Secondly, Castwind is letting for at a cheaper price than most competitors and also comes with one-year warranty.
