GOT MY MAMIYA 645 PRO YESSSSSS
But as with all my other venture into medium format photography, there is bound to be something faulty with the camera. I really hope that is not the case with this camera though at first glance the 80mm lens is not as clean i would have liked.
Will need to send the lens to cleaning up the fungus soon.
Best part of the deal was that i got a power grip, extension tube and polaroid back together with the camera, lens and back. Back in those days, power grip and extension tubes don’t come cheap. Even now, the Hasselblad 503CW’s power grip costs more than 1000 SGD second hand.
So for the price i paid, i think i definitely got myself a great bargain.
With this extension tube, i save up to 1000 bucks on a 120mm f/4 macro or 80mm f/4 macro lens. Can’t wait to run a roll of black and white on this gem.
Now… for a wide-angle lens…
Anyways, if you want to find out more about this camera, info is here.

Wei, get the 50mm shift M Sekor lens. It’s beautiful!
Solid metal and the lens is absolutely sharp edge to edge. I bought it from Cathay brand new at $250 when they were clearing it out. Check to see if they have any more unopened M Sekor lenses. They are all a steal.
that’s a freaking awesome price man. thanks for the info!
(was following your blog for some time but this finally pushed me to comment!!)
Oh man, this is one of my dream cameras! Congrats on your purchase!
Thanks! I can’t wait till the weekend to give it a few rolls with the 45mm f/2.8.
