Now that the Salsa shoot is finally over, I want to use this opportunity to thank you for your part in making this possible.
Zee, Dalena, Derrick - For coordinating the shoot as well as letting me use Mosaic to do the shoot. The newspaper portion was quite a pain...
Zee, Dalena, Gupson, Dawn, Sharon, Rebekah, Glenn and Ming - For being wonderful talents. It was really fun and enjoyable working with you guys.

You don't many chances to do a photoshoot with some of the best Latin dancers in Singapore, let alone doing it with a Hasselblad H4D-40 and the Profoto Pro-8 (10 flashes per second, anyone?).

For some reason the fly (corpse?) was rather intact and there was a Hasselblad H4D-40 and a 120mm f/4 Macro lens lying around in office. This is the 100% crop. Hit the jump for the original composition.

With that, I decided to bring this Gitzo GH 2781 QR ball head home to 'test' it out muahahaha. First observation: The knob to tighten/loosen the ball head is huge. And I think it is an understated fact that tripod makers are making life difficult for us with hard-to-twist knobs. - Hasselblad 503CW
- PME45
- 50mm f/4 CFi
- Winder CW
I've always wanted to try photographing with the Winder CW as well to see how it is like.

It was only on the day that I am leaving the place that I started revisiting places I found interesting. Only then, I started 'seeing'. Maybe this simply means that I need to go back Huangshan one more time. Huangshan, China 西海大峡谷 Hasselblad 501 CM 60mm f/3.5 CF Kenko 2X teleconvertor Ilford FP4 (ISO 125)
Read MoreI had the honour to doing a review for PSKiss, a company that develops one-click-of-the-mouse filters that converts your images into stunning images. The set of filters I received from them are the black and white filters. The image above is taken during my recent trip to Huangshan, China. It was converted into black and white using the PSKiss Creative Mono filter with +7 grain. Hit the jump for more about the filters.
Read MoreAt first glance, the Shootsac (what kind of name is that?!?) reminds me of the National Day Parade bag issued to members of the public in 2007. Plain, simple and most certainly not attention-grabbing. That, if you think deeper, is something that most photographers want during a shoot.
