China through the lens of my Hasselblad camera

June 30, 2012  |  Blog

As promised, here are my photographs of China, taken with the Hasselblad 503 CXi, 50mm f/4 CFi and 150mm f/4 CFi.

For this trip, I’ve challenged myself to shoot more color film as well as giving street photography a try with the medium format camera. The Fujifilm Pro 400 H was my choice of color film while the Ilford FP4 125 Plus and Kodak Tri-X 400 were my choice of black and white film.

Fewer words, more pictures. Here we go.

Here are some of my attempts at street photography with the Hasselblad. I’m really beginning to like Kodak Tri-X and I can see why so many professional photographers and street photographers swear by it.

Last but not least, what is a holiday if you don’t take some touristy snapshots yeah?

A very fruitful photography trip to China?

You sure as hell betcha.
