Back from a shoot with a Korean dance group

That's not me in the picture with the Korean dance group. Rather a friend who had asked for my help with a shoot since he had limited budget.

I normally would reject such work from other people but since he's a friend and got my studio/camera rental costs all covered I told myself "why not"?

My approach to dance photography

I was slightly disturbed over the weekend when somebody said it is so easy to photograph dance photography. You simply park your camera there, take as many photos as possible and there's bound to be a good shot. It only it was that easy. Before I go on, may I point out that I am no expert in this field. Furthest  I have gone with dance photography is an honorable mention at the 2009 International Photography Awards for my series on Afro Carribean Salsa Shines. So whatever I say, take it with a pinch of salt.
