Last shot on Huangshan, China

July 8, 2011  |  Blog  |  No Comments

Ok not exactly the LAST shot but my last subject before I decided to pack up and leave Huangshan, China for good. I'll admit that I spent the most of my time taking tons of touristy photos. It was only on the day that I am leaving the place that I started revisiting places I found interesting. Only then, I started 'seeing'. Maybe this simply means that I need to go back Huangshan one more time. Huangshan, China 西海大峡谷 Hasselblad 501 CM 60mm f/3.5 CF Kenko 2X teleconvertor Ilford FP4 (ISO 125)

September 7, 2010  |  Blog  |  8 Comments

Last week, i finally had the chance to bring out the Mamiya 645 for a proper test shoot. It was also a good opportunity to try out the Kodak E100 VS slide film. The resulting colors i got from this set of slides are not what i would have expect out of slide film. In any case, here are some photos i shot.

As soon as I heard someone knock the door this morning, I knew my Mamiya Sekor-C 45mm f/2.8 has finally arrived.

Particularly pleased because I resisted buying from local shops. Instead, I gambled by buying it from eBay and saved 100 bucks.

Time to take it out for some landscape shoots. For those of you who don’t know, medium format 45mm is about 28mm in the world of 135mm photography. Read More

Did not really take a lot of photos at the event. Nothing really to shout about to be honest. Interestingly, apart from my FYP photos, my portraits of WKWSCI's Kym Robin Campbell got shortlisted as finalist too.
